Real Estate is YOUR Business

Although you must work under the umbrella of a Real Estate Broker, you really are running your own business, and, therefore, must think that way.

Now let's look at the roles you play in your business;

President:  You set your mission statement and oversee all aspects of your business

Controller:  You set your budget & goals, manage your expenses and have a clear handle on all                     financial aspects of your business.

Marketer:  Understanding an effective marketing mix for your market area and ensuring consistency to                     help attract Buyers and Sellers and grow your business.

After Sale Service Coordinator:  Repeat and Referral business don't just come from                     doing a great job, they also come from keeping in touch with your past Clients and                     sphere of influence.  Ensuring constant contact is the task of the After Sale Service                     Coordinator.

Salesperson: Of course, prospecting, effectively handling objections, closing techniques and properly                     servicing the Client are all roles of the Salesperson!

Understanding all of these roles will put you on the correct path to ensuring success and growth in the real estate business!  This will also help you when building a TEAM.  Understanding what roles are more likely to be downloaded to an Assistant or Buyer Representative.
